AMI Consulting Engineers Promotes Michael Ostendorf to Civil Engineering Department Manager

AMI Consulting Engineers, PA, announced the promotion of Michael Ostendorf, PE to Civil Engineering Department Manager. He will have the primary responsibility for managing AMI’s civil engineering practice in the Twin Cities area with a focus on commercial development projects as well recreational and trail projects locally and for the National Parks Service.

His leadership will be key to our success in expanding our business and continuing great service and communication to our clients,” said Principal Chad Scott.

Michael joined the company in 2020 as Senior Civil Engineer and quickly demonstrated his aptitude for managing complex projects and teams. He is a driven project manager and leader with over 12 years of engineering experience on several high-profile projects in the region.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University, A Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Superior, and a Master of Science in project management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He looks forward to helping chart AMI’s path toward achieving its strategic goals for growth in his new position.
