AMI Consulting Engineers, P.A. was contracted by Graymont, LLC to provide engineering services for the addition of a rotary pulverizer system to significantly increase their capacity of their pulverized limestone product.

In addition to the rotary pulverizer, the AMI team designed dust collection and drying systems as well as an 800 ton storage/loadout silo with integral truck scale. Additional auxiliary equipment specification and selection included vibratory feeder, bin vents, bucket elevators, belt and screw conveyors as well as bin load out spout and aeration systems.

The equipment addition will be housed in a new building structure and remote MCC designed by the AMI team. Product feed to the equipment will be diverted from existing handling systems or a new alternate feed hopper and conveyor system included in the project.
