Marketing /Video & Photo Content - Intern - 2024 Season

Location: Superior, WI, St. Paul, MN, Pensacola, FL

We are seeking a creative and driven photographer/videographer intern to join our marketing team for the summer. This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about storytelling, brand building, and digital communication. The intern will not only create engaging content for our social media platforms but will also have the opportunity to travel to various job sites in the Duluth/Superior/North Shore region to capture project progress photos and drone footage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to different job sites within the Duluth/Superior/North Shore region to capture high-quality photos and drone footage documenting project progress and milestones.

  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, incorporating site visit footage and photos.

  • Assist in the planning, scripting, filming, and editing of video projects, including the integration of onsite footage, to support marketing and internal communication efforts.

  • Analyze social media metrics to gauge success and areas for improvement, providing regular reports to the marketing team.

  • Collaborate with project teams and departments to gather information and stories to feature in social media and video content.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, suggesting new ideas to improve digital marketing efforts.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and content strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in or recent graduate of an accredited degree program in Marketing, Communications, Photography, Film, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

  • Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing and able to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Experience in photography and operating a drone for aerial footage is highly desirable.

  • Prior internship or related experience in marketing or social media is a plus.

Compensation:

The wage is dependent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience.
