Our History
It all started with an idea
AMI Consulting Engineers was founded on the belief that complex problems are best solved by empowering great people to do meaningful work. From the beginning, co-founders Chad Scott and Craig Jouppi set out to build a firm rooted in integrity, balance, and purpose, without sacrificing family or personal values.
For more than twenty years, AMI has worked at the intersection of land and water, delivering thoughtful engineering solutions for coastlines, shorelines, rivers, ports, and communities across the Great Lakes, the Gulf Coast, and beyond.
