Transformation of a port warehouse into a maritime training and manufacturing center.

AMI provided Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the transformation of Warehouse #10 into a state-of-the-art maritime workforce development, manufacturing, and training facility at the Port of Pensacola.

AMI supported the City of Pensacola during the rehabilitation and buildout of Warehouse #10, a 56,000-square-foot facility developed as the High-Performance Maritime Center for Excellence. The project converted the existing warehouse into a modern training and manufacturing center featuring production areas, simulator and IT rooms, restrooms, a kitchen, and a mezzanine to support workforce development and maritime industry needs.

As the City's CEI consultant, AMI performed routine construction observations, quality assurance reviews, and documentation services throughout construction. The team monitored contractor performance, verified work conformance with plans and specifications, tracked project progress, and maintained detailed records to support project accountability and compliance with funding requirements.

AMI's oversight helped facilitate efficient project delivery while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance associated with the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund and Triumph Gulf Coast Fund. Through proactive coordination and thorough construction management practices, AMI helped the City successfully deliver a high-quality facility that supports workforce training, economic development, and continued growth within the maritime industry.
